In Q1 2022, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Mexico saw varying trends in weekly downloads and active user numbers, according to data from Sensor Tower.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides began the quarter with 149.6K downloads and experienced a dip to 96K in mid-January, followed by a recovery to 157.2K by mid-March. Active users started at 3.7M, fluctuating slightly but ultimately rising to 4.5M by the end of the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride saw an initial download count of 105.7K, decreasing to 62.9K in mid-January but then climbing to 130.8K by mid-March. Active users decreased from 4.1M in late December to 3.5M in January, but rebounded to 4.6M by mid-March.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a download count of 88.7K at the start of the quarter, decreasing to 49.3K in mid-January. The app saw a gradual increase to 72.3K by mid-March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 1.6M and rising to 1.7M by the end of March.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash began with 29.7K downloads, maintained a steady range, and closed the quarter at 32.1K. Active users started at 248K and saw a slight increase to 260K by the end of March.
